The Ferrari Owners Club of San Diego hosted a memorable gathering in Little Italy, San Diego, featuring an impressive display of 20 stunning Ferraris. The event brought together club members, car enthusiasts, food lovers, and friends for a wonderful day celebrating Ferrari and Italian culture.
Guests enjoyed the opportunity to admire an exceptional lineup of 20 Ferraris, each with its own unique character, while enjoying delicious food from Mona Lisa Italian Restaurant. The relaxed setting provided the perfect opportunity to connect with fellow Ferrari enthusiasts, share stories, and enjoy great conversation.
A special thank-you goes to Tom Ciserini, owner of the Convivio House, for sponsoring the event and arranging access to the neighboring Washington Elementary School grounds for our Ferrari display. Convivio is a local nonprofit organization dedicated to promoting Italian arts, culture, heritage, and community in San Diego.
As a gesture of appreciation for the use of the school grounds, the San Diego Ferrari Owners Club also made a generous donation to Washington Elementary School.
The day went beautifully—with one memorable exception. When it was time to leave, the key to the school gates was nowhere to be found! For about an hour, our group gathered patiently outside while Tom worked tirelessly to track it down. Despite the unexpected challenge, he never lost his faith—or his cool—and the missing key eventually made its way back into the right hands. It certainly gave us one more story to remember from an already memorable day!
We look forward to making this an annual event and expanding our outreach and advertising within the local community so that even more San Diegans and visitors can join us in celebrating Ferrari and Italian culture.
