$25.00Join us for another scenic drive out to the desert as we head to beautiful Borrego Springs for lunch at La Casa Del Zorro Desert Resort & Spa!
Our journey begins at E39Source headquarters (301 Enterprise St., Escondido, CA 92029), owned and operated by FOC members Ryan and Gary Schultz.
The event will start with a gathering at 8:30 AM, where light refreshments will be served. During this time, we’ll provide a brief orientation covering the day’s driving route and logistics. We will depart promptly at 9:00 AM for the approximately two-hour drive through some of Southern California’s most scenic desert roads.
About an hour into the drive, we’ll make a short rest stop before continuing on to Borrego Springs. Our group is expected to arrive at La Casa Del Zorro between 11:30 AM and 12:00 PM, where secure parking will be provided for our cars.
Event Details
- Registration fee: $25 per person
- Lunch cost: Approximately $30 per person, plus an automatic 18% gratuity
- Payment: Separate checks will be provided at the restaurant
This year’s lunch menu will feature four selections (see menu below). Additional beverages, including alcoholic drinks, will be available for purchase at the resort.
Lunch will be served on the resort’s beautiful outdoor patio, offering a desert atmosphere and a relaxed setting to enjoy great food and company. To learn more about the venue, visit the resort’s website.
After lunch, guests are welcome to relax and enjoy the resort for as long as they wish before making the drive home at their own pace.
